About Dr. Mike Holcomb

I always try to give the credit to what I’m about to others because I know you are who you hang with and I hung with some great folks as you will read about in the “Been Thinkin” blog. Some intro to the making of Mike Holcomb is as follows;

My experience in common sense certainly began with being raise in a low income household with two hard working parents, who for the first 10 years of my life love to go dancing and stay drunk all weekend. I received my elementary and high school education at 6 different schools. This qualifies me.

It was my senior year of “High School” that I married the love of my life over 50 years ago. She is by far the smart one in our family. This qualifies me.

I have three awesome, smart, beautiful, loving, godly children. I’m overwhelmingly gushy over 10 grandchildren, 3 1/2 great grands, and some specials that are in-laws. That qualifies me.

I have a Bachelor of Theology, Master of Theology, and Doctorate of Ministry all from Covington Theological Seminary. That qualifies me.

I have been Senior Pastor at Three Churches for 35 awesome years. That qualifies me.

My Mother-in-law lived with my wife and I for almost 18 years. I am now retired where every day is Saturday. THAT qualifies me!

Finally most importantly, I’m a Believer and follower of Jesus Christ. That qualifies me.

I love people, all kinds. So I hope you give me a shot. Read me, follow me, cause I really have “Been Thinkin.”
